In this video, I offer a very quick demonstration of Photoshop CS4’s “New Mesh From Grayscale” function. It is a very powerful tool that allows you transform 2d images into 3d objects. This function works great for nature shots…not so well for pictures of people or animals. It all depends though - experiment! The video is a little blurry since it’s so small, so I’ll offer step by step instructions below: -open image. in this case, a picture of the grand canyon -turn the background image …
